Need to find an original and unique gift for your relatives and friends for next Christmas?
Need an advice to find the best mise on a special occasion?
A friendship born among Nepali mountains and villages, a common and shared professional growth have led to the creation of an excursion preceding Christmas time and mixing the desire to enjoy the beauties of Bergamo town both with an Hiking Guide to discover secret and hidden corners and flavours of this town and with a personal shopper to discover artisan boutiques selling unique gifts for you and your relatives and friends, from made in Italy dresses to local food products and handicrafts.
The town will be enlightened by the starting Christmas atmosphere!
I am the Hiking guide, you know me…while Lorena will be your personal shopper.
My name is Lorena Zandonella. I was born in a town among the Venetian mountains, but always a lover of the sea.
My journey began after my studies for a bachelor degree in translation and interpreting, a course I did not complete because my heart told me to follow my innate passion… fashion.
So it was that destiny that led me to open a boutique in Bibione, a seaside town, on the Adriatic coast.
I immediately transformed my boutique into a place where the customers could find not only refined items and clothing from famous brands but also a consulting service that could help them to discover or enhance their own style, to make targeted purchases, and to build a perfect wardrobe.
YourCITYshopper is the evolution of this passion combined with my love for trips and local craft. To share with you my love for original things, my passion for authenticity, creativity and craftsmanship, I have created exciting itineraries to explore and discover the artisans’ workshops, the boutiques of emerging designers and whoever is behind this doors. You will take home with you in your suitcase a baggage full of expert advices, authentic discoveries, exciting meetings and good chats.
Difference in altitude: 50m ascent; 110m descent

The itinerary starts in the famous so called Sentierone in Bergamo, in down town, where we will taste the typical breakfast, and then runs up to upper Town which we will walk far and wide to discover made in Italy boutiques , hidden corners, unique local artisans, typical local flavours, historical monuments and shops, unique ideas for your Christmas gifts.
Typical lunch in an historical restaurant, including casoncelli and local products.
Christmas time is approaching and the town is preparing to offer us cosy Christmas atmosheres, which we will enjoy.
Back to down town along the enlightened ancient venetian walls and the ancient entrance gates, at sunset light.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY – EASY
It is an itinerary along stone-step tracks, pedestrian roads, and low-traffic streets. Light gradient.
The itinerary is, however, suitable for people and children over 12-year-old, in good health conditions and used to walk;
Dogs must be on a leash as the itinerary includes town pedestrian roads and out of respect for other participants who could be afraid of or annoyed by them. Please prevent the Guide.
The excursions I offer also aim at supporting local economic activities and at living unique experiences closely in touch with and with respect to people and places.
That’s why they often include tasting experiences and/or chance to buy local products directly from producers, mainly small local activities working hard and with passion to keep traditions alive;
That’s why groups I accompany are usually small … in order to meet and live local people and enter their lives and the calmness of the place on tiptoes.
The Cape Town Declaration in 2002 recognises that Responsible Tourism takes a variety of forms, it is characterised by travel and tourism which:

- involves local people in decisions that affect their lives and life changes;
- makes positive contributions to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, to the maintenance of the world’s diversity;
- provides more enjoyable experiences for tourists through more meaningful connections with local people, and a greater understanding of local cultural, social and environmental issues;
- provide access for people with disabilities and the disadvantaged;
- is culturally sensitive, engenders respect between tourists and hosts, and builds local pride and confidence.
